Bada Bean Bada Booze! Thus, a new cafe and cocktail bar has been created. Thrive Companies opened the dueling venue in its Italian Village development last week, next to Hoof Hearted Brewpub on First Avenue.
The space offers a collection of high and low tables, as well as sofas and chairs. Some of the seats include built-in plugs and USB ports, conducive to remote workers.
A colorful menu explains the food and drink offer.
Bada Bean opens at 7am on weekdays, 8am on weekends. The change to the cocktail bar takes place at 15:00 every day.
We just checked the morning portion aka Bada Bean so far. Coffee and brunch cocktails are complemented by cookie sandwiches, scones, cinnamon buns and galettes from Kittie’s Cakes, while Happy Little Treats also offers vegan treats.
We tried a couple of the breakfast sandwiches and coffees.
Holy Molé includes cold beer, vanilla, cinnamon, cocoa and oat milk.
While the Spiced Maple Latte is flavored with spicy maple syrup.
Kittie’s whole egg and cheddar cookie.
And the maple biscuit sandwich with egg, cheddar and sausage.
As part of Thrive Companies’ Jeffrey Park development, the space recalls the history of Jeffrey Manufacturing.
The portion of Mongeta de Bada is open from Monday to Friday, from 7 to 3 p.m. and from Saturday to Sunday, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. While the Bada Booze portion opens at 3pm it closes at 10pm from Sunday to Thursday and midnight from Friday to Saturday.
And judging by the list of locations on their site, Bada Bean Bada Booze may be popping up in Harrison West, Grandview and Marble Cliff soon.
