Each slice should be about 1 inch thick; take one and roll it in flour. Then dip it in your egg, making sure you have completely covered the entire slice. The final step would be to dredge your ham in the breadcrumbs and gently press them so they hold better and stick to your ham.

After heating cooking oil in a pan, fry your ham katsu. The result we are aiming for is a beautiful golden brown. Once you have that on your bottom, flip your katsu piece over and fry again.
