This Peach Crisp is a wonderful dessert that can be served anytime. Just add some ice cream to this crunch and you have a great dessert for friends and family. This peach chip has lots of peaches and that makes it even better. You can use fresh or frozen peaches in this recipe. It’s very versatile. Southerners love their peaches and you’ll make this Southern dish over and over again.
Ingredients needed for Peach Crisp:
Canned peaches + canned syrup (you can also use fresh peaches, just add water)
White sugar
all purpose flour
baking powder
condensed milk
Salt
nutmeg
Cinammon
As you can see, the ingredients are very simple, but this dish has a wonderful taste. We always add extra cinnamon because we are a family that LOVES cinnamon on everything. These chips are made in a smaller pan, but feel free to double the recipe. We love these little desserts because they’re perfect for just a few people and don’t leave big leftovers.
While most chips are made with nuts and oats, this one is different and has quickly become one of our favorites. It’s more like a cobbler, but the flavor is just amazing and it never lasts more than a day once we make it. The combination of cinnamon and nutmeg with the peaches makes this dish really delicious. Now…I’m wondering how to do this with different fruits?!
