I eat a smoothie almost every morning. And if you opened my freezer you would see several bags of frozen fruits and berries. My first choice is a blended berry smoothie, but my husband’s is strawberry banana. It’s easy, customizable, and will keep you full for hours!

Ingredients for the Strawberry Banana Smoothie

To make this Strawberry Banana Smoothie you will need:

  • milk – Use your favorite! We use oat milk or milk adamia nut milk.
  • low-fat greek strawberry yoghurt – Try using a high-protein yogurt to stay full longer!
  • strawberries (frozen) – Use peeled and halved frozen strawberries with no added sugar.
  • banana (frozen) – Once a week I peel, halve and freeze a bunch of bananas and store them in a freezer safe resealable bag.
  • Vanilla Protein Powder – This is optional but great for keeping you feeling full and satisfied for longer.

Place ingredients in blender

In a blender, add 1/2 cup milk of your choice, 5 to 6 ounces low-fat strawberry Greek yogurt (I use Oikos Pro with 20 grams of protein!), 1 cup frozen strawberries (sliced ​​or halves), 1/2 a frozen banana, and 1 Portion of vanilla protein powder.
