Squeaky Bean Launches Vegan Snack Sausage Rolls With Bacon-Style Slices – Vegan

British brand Screaming BeanBest known for its cold meat alternatives, announces the launch of a new vegetarian product – Snack Sausage Rolls.

A plant-based alternative to the popular British snack, Squacky Beans Sausage Rolls Available in Sainsbury’s stores nationwide from 3rd May. The launch will coincide with No Meat May (a challenge to cut meat from the diet for 31 days), the start of Coronation Street parties and summer picnics.

“Roll out the green carpet for British cuisine fit for a king; New Squeaky Bean (Vegan) Snack Sausage Rolls,” the company says.

A range of meat-free options

Squeaky Bean’s new snack-size sausage roll (8x20g) is made with puff pastry and the company’s signature wheat and pea protein plant-based meat. The filling includes bacon-style slices, fried onions, salt, pepper, parsley and sage, a “flavorful, meat-free alternative.”

Squeaky Bean’s recent launches include a frozen range that includes nuggets, dippers and poppers. They have NYC deli pastrami (a most popular products of the brand)Spanish chorizo, and salami style slices.
