An easy homemade Southwest Ranch that’s perfect as a dressing or dip! Eight ingredients like; Mayonnaise, Sriracha, Adobo, Ranch, and Southwest Seasoning are all you need to make this incredibly flavorful dressing. Makes 1-1/2 cups or 12 (2 tablespoons) servings.
I fell in love with Southwest Ranch on a bdub.
In my opinion, Buffalo Wild Wings has the best ranch in the Southwest. It’s usually served with fried pickles or onion rings, although Malloree asks for a side dish to dip her wings in. It is so good! And for years I’ve been trying to recreate it at home. It’s creamy, with cool ranch herbs and a subtle spicy kick of Southwest spice and Sriracha.
It really is that good!
To make this homemade Southwest ranch you will need:
- mayonnaise – Adds rich flavor and creaminess.
- Sriracha – Adds delicious subtle warmth.
- Ketchup – Use homemade or store-bought, regular or sugar-free.
- Ranch Spice Blend – Feel free to use my homemade recipe or store bought.
- southwestern seasoning – Gives the dressing that southwestern flavor.
- Adobe spice – Homemade or store bought works great. My adobo spice recipe is in my cookbook.
- chilli powder – Gives extra Tex-Mex flavor.
- milk – Used to thin the dressing. Use any milk of your choice.
In a medium bowl, measure and add 3/4 cup mayonnaise, 2 teaspoons sriracha, 1 teaspoon ketchup, 2 tablespoons ranch seasoning, 1 tablespoon southwest seasoning, 1 tablespoon adobo seasoning, and 1 teaspoon chili powder.
Pour in 1/2 cup milk. And stir until everything is combined.
Cover and refrigerate 1 to 2 hours before using. This will help develop the flavors and thicken the dressing/dip. If you want it thinner, add more milk after cooling.
