ALL THINGS COSTCO! Here are my 13 frozen dinner shortcuts from Costco.
You know I love my frozen meals!
I love them so much, I’ve created another website and web app to help you choose the best recipes for making frozen meals in your kitchen – using bulk ingredients from the warehouse…or any grocery store.
I make 2-3 MyFreezEasy frozen meals a week, and other nights I compile what I call my dinner shortcuts, and other nights I cook a fresh dinner.
A dinner shortcut is a meal from the freezer with pre-made frozen ingredients.
I love Costco’s organic and fresher ingredients and dishes…they’re affordable, quick and easy to make, and have a wide variety of options (as you’ll soon see).
Whether it’s a MyFreezEasy frozen meal or a freezer dinner shortcut, I’ve usually added them to my meal plan…but sometimes when I’ve had a change in my daily schedule, I love to know that I have these backup options in the freezer and I can do the drive-through (and additional expense!)
I love having easy meals that I can grab and throw in the Instant Pot, or ingredients that I can quickly reheat or cook (below).
Below I’ve rounded up some great frozen ingredient combinations that work well for quick, on the fly meals. There are a few pantry or fridge staples like marinara sauce, maple syrup, or pasta.
There are also a few fresh ingredients that I also freeze, like shredded cheese, bread and buns, chicken burgers (found in the fridge), and sausages/sausages (found in the fridge).
If you haven’t already, definitely take a minute to explore mine pre-made frozen meals with ingredients from Costco – these go viral from time to time and you don’t want to miss out on these plans and the food savings that come with them.
And before we get to the list, use this as inspiration…not every store carries every one of these products. Use the list to create your own list of dinner shortcuts!
