Preheat oven to 177°C. Lightly coat a 9″ x 5″ (23 x 13 cm) loaf pan with oil or non-stick cooking spray.

Peel bananas and place in a small bowl. Mash with the back of a fork until smooth. Separate 1 cup of the mashed bananas.
