Drinking more water can be difficult; Use these 11 hacks to drink more water!

1. Add some products
Use fresh fruits, vegetables, and herbs to add a bit of excitement to your plain water. You can even combine different ones to create new fun flavor combinations.
Attempt:
- Mint + watermelon
- strawberries + basil
- cucumber + lemon
- oranges + ginger

2. Give yourself an incentive
Give yourself a small reward for sticking with your new habit of drinking more water. This could be a fun smoothie, a pair of new shoes, or anything you deem worthy.
FYI: These tricks to drinking more water may be something to work hard on in the beginning. They are not habit yet and it takes time to develop a healthy habit!
3. Have a goal and a plan
Simply telling yourself that you want to “drink more water” has no meaning! Set a reasonable goal and make a plan to achieve it.
You might want to aim for drinking 1.5 gallons (192 ounces) of water in a day. Now all you have to do is make a plan. Does drinking 13 ounces an hour seem more reasonable? Of course it does!
4. Add some texture
Telling you to add some texture to your water might sound a bit odd. What I mean is incorporating bottled and sparkling water into your beverage rotation! These still count towards your daily water intake, but can make it more exciting.

5. Get a water bottle that paints you
There are tons of water bottles out there with little gimmicks to make you drink more water. This may seem cheesy, but it works, it works!
One that has every hour marked can be helpful if you aim to drink a certain amount every hour!
6. Find out the best method for you
Some people drink more water when they use a straw, and some drink more when they can swallow it. By figuring out which category you fall under, you can easily increase your water intake!

7. Wake up, drink up!
Make a habit of waking up and filling your cup with water Then Coffee! Perhaps the easiest way would be to tell yourself that you need to drink 12 ounces of water before you can have your morning coffee? I would say that would give me a nudge!
8. Eat your water
You are not strictly stuck Drink your water. You can get tons of water from fruits and vegetables.
I’m sure you know how much water is in watermelon and cucumber, but you might be surprised to know that there’s also high water content in:
- strawberries
- zucchini
- lettuce
- peaches
- Cantaloupe melon
- celery
- oranges

9. Carry your water
It is very common to take a water bottle with you everywhere. Do that! By bringing your water bottle, you’ll always have water within reach. Be that person!
10. Take small sips throughout the day
You don’t have to wait until you’re thirsty to sip water. By the time you’re actually thirsty, you’re easily dehydrated! Take small sips every time you see your water bottle, and you’ll hit your water intake goals a little faster!
11. Use a flavor enhancer
There are so many flavor enhancers on the market today. Feel free to flavor your water ANYTHING!
You can choose one that contains caffeine, but try to avoid one with excessive calories. Just because you add flavor to your water doesn’t mean you have to add sugar!
